Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL) Think Pink Luncheon

Think Pink Luncheon is hosted by the South Palm Beach County FAWL chapter celebrating more than 20 years of supporting the fight against breast cancer. SPBCFAWL is a volunteer bar association dedicated to actively promoting the advancement of women in the legal profession, expanding the leadership role of its members in the community at-large, and promoting women’s rights.

Broward County Council of Professional Fire Fighters

Broward County Council of Professional Fire Fighters Awards Dinner, representing 2500 Broward County Fire Fighters at Nova Southeastern University, recognized outstanding community leaders and provided scholarships to college and the Fire Academy to outstanding local students.

Project 1841

Alli Weiss, Alex Kaplan, Alex Rubin, and Ilana Wolpert formed Project 1841, standing for 18-year-olds, four girls, and one cuase. Project 1841 presents foster teens aging out of the Broward County system with a “starter kit” for their 18th birthday.

Parkland Dash

Parkland Dash is an annual 5K/5mile and 1-mile fun run, hosted by the City of Parkland and was presented by the Northwest Medical Center for the benefit of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.

Teen Court Judge

Teen Court is a diversion program designed to offer an alternative to formal juvenile court proceedings. At Teen Court’s sentencing phase trials, trained high-school student volunteers using a Peer Jury format, roughly modeled after the process used by a grand jury, perform the courtroom roles of clerk, bailiff, juror and advocate. Ken Cutler has been a Judge since 2000.
